Living in the highly vulnerable shifting silt islands (Chars) of Gaibandha, Tanvir has witnessed flood displacements three times in his short life. His school is a temporary tin shed. Yet, whenever the Mobile Tech Van visits his village, he is the first to arrive.

Tanvir is seeking a rugged, solar-compatible tablet and offline instructional software loaded with international science courses. High-bandwidth internet is unavailable in his Char, so his device is loaded with the entire Kiwix offline Wikipedia database and educational videos in Bengali.
