Giving a voice to the daughters of tea garden workers

Ruhi comes from three generations of tea leaf pickers in Sreemangal. Educational dropouts among girls in tea-estates are critically high. Ruhi started attending our weekly digital workshop, learning typing and basic document layout. She now serves as a student volunteer.

Sponsorship covers Ruhi's annual transport allowance to the Sreemangal Town Tech Lab, school supplies, a refurbished iPad/Tablet with detached keyboard, and specialized digital journalism and content writing mentoring.
