The people building the mission.
Tech for Access is powered by students, volunteers, educators, and builders working toward a more connected future.
Six people. One mission.
How the organization is built.
Every level of leadership is designed to be self-sustaining. Local communities own their labs. Regional coordinators support them. The leadership team builds infrastructure for everyone.
Why we left other careers to build this.
"I watched brilliant classmates fall behind because their families couldn't afford a computer. I had access because of luck. I came back to correct that imbalance and build something that would outlast me."
"I spent years watching children disengage from school because nothing connected them to the world they were growing into. Digital literacy changes that. I wanted to be the person who brought that change to scale."
"E-waste is a crisis. Children without computers is a crisis. We are solving both at once. That felt like the most efficient thing I could do with my skills, and the most honest."
"I grew up in Rangpur. I know what it means to be capable but invisible because you're not in Dhaka. I joined to make sure the next generation in my district isn't invisible to the world."
"I built software for companies that didn't need it. Here, every line of code ends up in front of a child who genuinely needs it. The feedback loop is direct and real. That matters to me more than salary."
"I covered digital inequality for years as a journalist. I wrote about the problem from the outside. I wanted to be inside, building the solution. This is that chance."
